Doug Hall, managing partner of Financial Additions, will be attending this years Association for Corporate Growth’s 2012 Dallas/Fort Worth Economic Forum. It will be held on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at the Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX 214-220-0239.

This year’s featured speakers will be Ambassador Frank G. Wisner and Clint Bruce.

Ambassador Frank G. Wisner, foreign affairs advisor at Patton Boggs LLP, will address recent events in the Middle East, in particular “The Arab Spring,” and will share his insight into their impact on world leadership and economies. Ambassador Wisner has spent decades serving as a diplomat and consultant– a career that spans four decades and eight American presidents. He served as ambassador to Zambia, Egypt, the Philippines and India during his extensive career in the State Department. At Patton Boggs he provides clients with strategic global advice concerning business, politics, and international law and he currently serves on the boards several major corporations and non-profit organizations.

Clint Bruce, President of Trident Response Group, will speak to “Global Economics in the age of Terrorism: The role of noble businesses”. This presentation considers (a) the role of the private sector in the U.S. Cold War Victory, (b) the entrepreneurial nature of Special Operations and how it parallels the key quality of the American Economy, and (c) how the most sustainable and enduring weapon in the U.S. Counter-Terrorism arsenal is economics. Clint Bruce is the founder and president of Trident Response Group, a risk and threat management firm headquartered in Dallas since 2005. Trident was founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina upon completion of a successful rescue operation in support of the Fairmont Hotel.
