Event Description: We are honored to announce that Convergence 2013, the largest and most well-attended education conference for the CPA community in North Texas, will be held on May 8, 2013, from 8am-5pm at the Omni Dallas Hotel in downtown Dallas. This year we are expecting over 1,500 attendees. The 43-course program is a must-attend event for CFOs, Controllers, Internal Auditors, Chief Accountants, Tax Directors, Vice Presidents of Finance, practicing CPAs and other Society members in North Texas. The Conference will include a luncheon keynote address by Billy M. Atkinson, Chairman of the Private Company Council. Other panel participants will include officials from the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, Internal Revenue Service, Texas Comptroller’s Office, Texas Attorney General’s Office and national speakers on accounting, auditing, tax, finance and human resource topics.
