Driving Engagement Through Benefits and Recognition

In the past, you may have thought of incentives as just a way to engage your workforce and motivate employees to reach goals or reward/recognize them for a job well done. That’s still true, but research now shows that Employee Wellness and Recognition programs can be designed to drive employee participation and behavior change. These cultural shifts will support long-term strategies that determine what employees and the organization values and wants, resulting in significant improvements in overall company results.

Join us as we hear how Michaels Stores developed their highly regarded Wellness and Recognition Programs and how these programs have impacted their workforce, their culture and their company performance.

Topic: “Time and Attendance Compliance”

“Compliance” is a topic that has been receiving a great deal of attention recently… and with good reason. For those of us in the HR and payroll space, the concept of compliance covers a great deal of ground. From corporate pay rules and policies to the Family and Medical Leave Act and other similar regulations, compliance (and more importantly, proof of compliance) is a front-and-center concern. During this 60-minute session, we’ll look at compliance issues through the lens of workforce management processes, share ‘best practices’ for ensuring compliance, as well as identify opportunities to enhance your organization’s ability to avoid fines, maintain a positive (and equitable) relationship with your entire employee base and, ultimately, confidently comply with all pay rules, policies, and practices.
