Director of SEC Reporting
Position Responsibilities:
• Completing statement of cash flows, other comprehensive income and earnings per share
• Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Management discussions and analysis, SEC comment letters, Form S-3, Form 8-K, Form 11-K, Form 5500 and Annual Reports
• Accounting and forecasting of stock options, derivatives, litigation and claims expense
• Researching technical accounting matters, updating disclosure checklists for significant new accounting pronouncements, issuing quarterly technical accounting and reporting newsletter and providing technical accounting guidance to the Finance community
• Responsible for Board and Senior Management reporting, including press release, Audit Committee and Board of Directors’ financial packages, monthly consolidated close book, and investor relations financial Q & As
• Responsible for directing quarterly and year-end external financial statement and 401(k) audits, including reviewing scope, timing and extent of audit external auditors; coordinating signoffs of position papers with external auditors
• Will be the resident GAAP expert for internal and external matters; must keep up with all related and ongoing added updates pertaining to this area
The Director of SEC will add significant value to the Accounting and Finance organization by directing the internal and external financial reporting efforts.
